Pricing & packages
How much does mobile car detailing cost in Baltimore?
Our mobile car detailing starts at $125 for an exterior wash and wax on a sedan or coupe. Interior detailing (Red Velvet) is $150–$200, the Black Cherry starter detail with clay bar and wax is $250–$300, and our full detail, Ace of Spades, is $350–$400.
The price depends on the size of the vehicle, and travel is free within 15 miles of Baltimore. See every package.
Do you detail trucks, SUVs and 3-row vehicles?
Yes. Every package is priced in three sizes: sedans and coupes, trucks and SUVs, and 3-row vehicles like minivans and large SUVs. Bigger vehicles have more paint, glass, seats and carpet, so they take longer. Cherry Glaze, for example, is $125 for a sedan, $150 for a truck or SUV and $175 for a 3-row.
What does a full car detail include?
Our full detail, Ace of Spades, includes everything in Black Cherry: clay bar treatment, door jambs, hand-applied wax with 2–3 month protection, and leather and vinyl cleaned and conditioned.
On top of that you get bug removal, wheel faces and barrels cleaned and dressed, a full interior vacuum under the seats and in the trunk, a deep wipe-down of the dash, vents, doors and panels, and a premium machine polish.
What’s the difference between interior and exterior detailing?
Exterior detailing cleans and protects the outside: a thorough hand wash, wheels, tires and barrels, a gentle paint cleanse and hand-applied wax. That’s our Cherry Glaze.
Interior detailing resets the cabin: seats and carpets drill-brushed and shampooed, plastics, trim and tight crevices deep cleaned, and a UV protectant to finish. That’s Red Velvet. Black Cherry and Ace of Spades cover both.
Do you offer a monthly car detailing plan?
Yes. The VIP Maintenance Plan keeps your car looking freshly detailed for $80–$165 a visit, monthly or bi-weekly, depending on the vehicle. Each visit includes a hand wash and dry, spray wax or sealant, wheels and tires, an interior vacuum and wipe-down, windows inside and out, door jambs and a fresh scent finish, plus 10% off all add-ons.
What payment methods do you accept?
Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, Apple Pay and Venmo. A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves your appointment when you book.

Booking & scheduling
How do I book a mobile car detail?
Pick your package and a time on our Square booking calendar. A 50% deposit locks in a dedicated service window that’s held just for you. We work Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
Want to ask something first? Text or call (443) 300-7504.
Do I need to be home during the detail?
No. As long as we can get to the vehicle, carry on with your day at home, at work or out running errands. You’ll get a message the moment your car is finished.
Can I reschedule or change my appointment?
Yes, with at least 24 hours’ notice your deposit moves to the new appointment. Deposits are non-refundable, and same-day cancellations, same-day reschedules, late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit, so a new one is needed to rebook. Changing or downgrading the service after booking may also change the price, because the time and travel have already been reserved. Read the booking terms.
What if I’m running late?
There’s a 15-minute grace period, and with a quick heads-up we can usually work around it. Without any word about lateness or a no-show, the remaining balance of the service is still due.
What happens if it rains or an emergency comes up?
Life happens, especially with mobile services. If the weather turns or an emergency comes up, just reach out. We’re always willing to work with you and find a solution when things are out of your control.

On the day
Do mobile detailers need water or electricity from me?
Not us. We bring our own water and power along with all of our professional equipment, so you don’t need a hose, an outdoor faucet or an outlet. It’s what lets us detail in apartment lots and at the office.
Where can you detail my car?
At home, at work, or any other approved location where the vehicle can be safely accessed: your driveway, an apartment or condo lot, or your office parking lot. Cherry On Top is 100% mobile, so there’s no shop to drive to. If you live in a managed building, check that detailing is allowed in the lot.
How long does a car detail take?
Most full details take 2–4 hours, depending on the package and the condition of the vehicle. As a guide, Cherry Glaze takes about 90 minutes, Red Velvet 60–120 minutes, Black Cherry 2–3 hours and Ace of Spades 2.5–4 hours. Add-ons such as paint correction add time.
How should I get my car ready for a detail?
Take out valuables and personal items, clear the trunk if you’d like it vacuumed, and park where there’s room to walk around all four sides. If there’s pet hair, heavy stains or a smell, mention it when you book so we can bring the right add-on.

Pet hair, stains & paint
Can you remove pet hair from my car?
Yes. Pet hair removal is a $75 add-on, about 45 minutes, that pulls embedded fur out of carpets, seats and upholstery. Pair it with Red Velvet or a full detail and the interior is ready for the next ride with your dog.
Can you get rid of stains and bad smells?
Yes. Stain removal and extraction is a $100 add-on and odor removal is $50. Red Velvet already includes drill-brushing and shampooing the seats and carpets, so together they take care of coffee spills, food stains and smells that linger.
Does car detailing remove scratches and swirl marks?
Polishing can. Our One Step Paint Correction ($250, about 2.5 hours) machine-polishes the paint to remove or soften light swirl marks, fine scratches and haze, and Ace of Spades includes a premium machine polish.
A scratch deep enough to catch your fingernail has usually gone through the clear coat and needs a body shop.
Ceramic sealant or wax: which is better?
Wax gives a warm shine and short-term protection; the hand-applied wax in Black Cherry lasts about 2–3 months. A ceramic sealant ($125 add-on) bonds to the paint and lasts longer, and it makes the car easier to wash because water and dirt slide off. If you want protection that outlasts the season, add the sealant.
What is a clay bar treatment, and does my car need one?
A clay bar lifts bonded contamination such as industrial fallout, tree sap and brake dust that a wash leaves behind. If your paint still feels rough after washing, it needs one. Clay bar treatment is included in Black Cherry and Ace of Spades, and it helps the wax or sealant bond better.
Do you clean kids’ car seats?
Yes. Kid’s car seat cleaning is a $40 add-on, about 30 minutes, for the crumbs and spills that end up in the straps and crevices.
Can you clean up vomit or other bodily fluids?
Yes. Hazardous matter removal, such as vomit and other bodily fluids, starts at $250 and is priced by severity. Get in touch at (443) 300-7504 and we’ll talk it through.

Car care tips
What’s the difference between a car wash and car detailing?
A car wash cleans the surface. Car detailing deep cleans, restores and protects the whole car, inside and out: wheels and barrels, door jambs, seats, carpets, vents and trim, finished with wax or sealant on the paint. It takes hours instead of minutes, and the results last a lot longer.
How often should I get my car detailed?
A full detail every 4–6 months keeps most cars in great shape, with regular washes in between. If you want it to look freshly detailed all the time, the VIP Maintenance Plan comes to you monthly or bi-weekly.
Is mobile detailing worth it?
For most people, yes. You get a hands-on detail without driving to a shop or waiting around, because we come to your home or work with our own water and power. You get your afternoon back, travel is free within 15 miles of Baltimore, and our clients rate us 5.0 from 84 Google reviews.
